Over the past few weeks, many businesses have faced challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that can be overwhelming. The PDRA Board and staff want you to know we stand behind you 100%.

We also want to offer support by helping you stay connected with your community. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Hardware Show is rescheduled for September 1-3, 2020 so we’re able to extend the deadline for the PDRA $5000 scholarship program applications to July 3rd. Even if your store is temporarily closed you can still take advantage of this opportunity and promote your business by offering the program to students in your community. Continue to check your PDRA E-Blasts and Social Media posts. We are continuously working to provide you with accurate information to help you with your business during this unprecedented time. The week of April 6th, 2020 you will have an opportunity to watch a webinar providing you with information on the CARES Act and various SBA loans available to small businesses. If you do not receive emails from PDRA, email and we will add you to our email database.

PDRA will extend the Content Marketing Program out complimentary for April and May, 2020 to all dealers that have provided us with their email addresses. During this time when we are being told to isolate, it is still very important to communicate. We urge you to use this information on your social media platforms and customer newsletters so you can stay connected during this time. Don’t worry about Google Analytics or Likes… use the information to keep in contact with your local community. More information and details will be provided in the email going out to dealers. Your membership matters and your dues are important. They help your industry association develop new programs to help you & your employees grow and succeed as an independent paint & decorating retailer. If you are able to renew your membership at this time, we greatly appreciate your support. If you are not able to renew your membership at this time, we understand and encourage you to take advantage of the free education and resources being offered at this time.
