The deadline to be considered for the 2012 PDRA Scholarship is fast approaching. In order to be considered, the candidate’s application must be received at PDRA offices by March 15.
The 2012 PDRA Scholarship Program is generously sponsored by the National Hardware Show®. Candidates for the $5,000 scholarship award must be nominated by a PDRA member in good standing. The candidate must write a 500-word essay describing why he or she feels deserving of the award.
At the time of the application, the candidate must be at least a senior in high school and no more than 26 years of age. PDRA members will be limited to nominating two students. The candidate must pledge to use the scholarship for vocational, college or post-college studies.
Nominations must be made in writing and addressed to: PDRA Scholarship, c/o Paint & Decorating Retailers Association, 1401 Triad Center Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376.
Announcement of the award will be made and publicized at PDRA’s annual trade show, taking place in conjunction with the National Hardware Show®, May 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
